The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (M.P.A.C.) is responsible for the assessment of property. If you have an inquiry regarding your assessment or would like to file a Request of Reconsideration please contact them toll free at 1-866-296-6722.

Taxes for the Non-Capped Classes are due in three installments. The Interim Bill is mailed the first of March and payment is due on the last working day of March. The Final Tax Bill is mailed the first of June with the first payment being due on the last working day of June and the second payment due on the last working day of September.
Taxes for the Capped Classes are due in two installments. The Interim Bill is mailed at the first of March and payment is due on the last working day of March. The Final Tax Bill is mailed at the first of October and payment is due on the last working day of October.
Late payments are charged interest & penalty at a rate of 1.25% on the first day of default and the first day of each month thereafter until paid.
All payments are applied to penalty and interest first.

Payments can be remitted in the following ways:
Tax Certificates
A fee of $30.00 is payable to the Township of South Frontenac for each tax roll requiring a Tax Certificate. There is a two week turn around for processing Tax Certificates and payments must be received before the request will be processed.
