Household Hazardous Waste-Closed for the Winter

The Township of South Frontenac has now opened our own Household Hazardous Waste Transfer Station at the corner of Keeley Road and Sydenham Road. The hours of operation will be every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 2491 Keeley Road from April to October. The site is open to all residents of South Frontenac and there will be NO charge.

Paint (both tinned & aerosol)      Varsol        Antifreeze

Chemical Fertilizer       Gasoline        Kerosene

Kerosene            Diesel                Waste Oil        Pesticides

Herbicides          Oil Filters         Aerosols           Cleaners

Pharmaceuticals          Detergents        Propane Tanks

Compressed Gas Cylinders         Automotive Batteries

Household Batteries        Fluorescent Bulbs (both CFL & tube)

Needles (in rigid plastic containers only)

Prohibited Materials

Smoke Detectors              Explosives

Ammunition           Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's)
